Pro Appliance Repair Company Policies

1. Service Policies

  • Service Areas: We provide appliance repair services in Cape Cod, MA, and surrounding areas. Specific locations may vary; please contact us for confirmation.
  • Service Hours:
  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Appointment Scheduling: Services are by appointment only. Customers must provide accurate contact and address information when scheduling.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: Customers must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments without incurring a fee.


2. Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of diagnosis, covering the diagnostic fee, labor, parts, and applicable parts tax. Once the initial payment is made, there will be no additional charges when we return to install the part. Exceptions may apply if an alternate arrangement is agreed upon in advance with the technician. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and other approved payment methods.

3. Technician Conduct

  • Professionalism: Our technicians are trained to provide courteous, respectful, and professional service at all times.
  • Safety: Technicians adhere to safety protocols to ensure their safety and that of the customer's property.
  • Identification: Technician identification will be verified through the appointment link sent to the customer via the Jobber portal.
  • Workable Position: Appliances must be in a workable position. If the appliance requires moving, customers are responsible for providing protection for flooring (e.g., mats, sliders). If no protection is provided, the technician will use company-provided items to minimize potential damages. If damages do occur, Pro Appliance Repair does not accept responsibility for repair fees.


4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access: Customers must provide clear and safe access to the appliance needing repair.
  • Appliance Condition: Appliances must be clean and free from hazardous materials before service.
  • Water-Related Appliances: For appliances involving water (e.g., dishwashers, washers), customers must be present during the first cycle after repair. In case of leaks, contact us immediately.
  • Property Protection: Customers are responsible for protecting floors and surrounding property during appliance movement. Pro Appliance Repair is not responsible for scratches or damage caused during appliance relocation.


5. Warranty Policies

  • Parts Warranty: Parts installed by our technicians are covered for 9 Months from the date of installation. Manufacturer warranties may apply where available.
  • Labor Warranty: Work performed is guaranteed for 30 days from the service date. Issues arising from unrelated problems are not covered.
  • Exclusions: Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.


6. Refunds & Disputes

  • Refunds: Diagnostic fees and labor charges are non-refundable. Parts can be returned if they have not been installed, subject to a return fee as determined by the distributor.
  • Dispute Resolution: Customers are encouraged to contact us directly with concerns. Disputes will be handled in good faith to reach a fair resolution.


7. Privacy Policy

  • Customer Information: We collect and store customer information solely for the purpose of providing services. Information is never shared or sold to third parties.
  • Data Security: All sensitive information is handled securely and confidentially.


8. Liability Limitations

  • Damage: Pro Appliance Repair is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damages resulting from normal appliance wear and tear.
  • Property Protection: While our technicians take every precaution, we are not responsible for any scratches, dents, or damage to floors, walls, or other property. Customers are advised to take necessary precautions or provide protective materials for appliances being moved.
  • Losses: We are not liable for any consequential or incidental damages arising from appliance failure or service delays.


9. Environmental Responsibility

  • Recycling: Old parts and appliances will be disposed of responsibly, following local regulations.
  • Energy Efficiency: We recommend energy-efficient solutions when applicable to reduce environmental impact.


10. Updates to Policies

  • Changes: Pro Appliance Repair reserves the right to modify these policies at any time. Customers will be informed of significant changes before their next service
